If your child loves to read and/or write or needs to become engaged in the wonder of words enroll now. This class will help develop skills in identifying inference and tone, building vocabulary and increasing reading comprehension and speed while reading classic books. Each session focuses on a different classic: Diary of Anne Frank, The Lord of the Flies, The Old Man and the Sea.
Keep reading and writing skills sharp to help students hit the ground running in the Fall 2013. Start next year at the head of the pack. Gain confidence in language skills and start to develop a “fierce” vocabulary.
Critical thinking skills and problem solving skill development will be emphasized as well as
developing a love for reading, writing, and great literature. Be introduced to the world of the classics.
