If your child loves to read and/or write or needs to become engaged in the wonder of words enroll now. This class will help develop skills in identifying inference and tone, building vocabulary and increasing reading comprehension and speed. Students will create short stories and poetry for SEC website postings* and students will be introduced to the basics of public speaking. Study skill building and test taking strategies will also be emphasized. They will also read a Steinbeck novel. Keep reading and writing skills sharp to help students hit the ground running in the Fall 2013. Start next year at the head of the pack. Gain confidence in language skills and start to develop a “fierce” vocabulary. Be secure in your 2013 study plan and make the L.E.A.P. this summer. Session 1- June 10 to June 27 Monday through Thursday, 11AM to 1PM. Session 2- July 8 to July 25 Monday through Thursday, 11AM to 1PM.
