Communication, Law, & Debate teaches high school students the fundamentals of argument, enabling them to develop core skills that boost confidence and build self-esteem. Our residential debate camp gives high school students the chance to cultivate their communication skills in a warm and friendly environment. The instruction, skills, and experience our students gain will aid them on their debate team, model United Nations team, mock trial team, or speech team. Our debate camps are intended to provide specific guidance in structuring arguments, writing cases, researching evidence, writing rebuttal briefs, delivering speeches, and refuting opposing debate teams. Debate students will gain more than just debating techniques. They will have an increased sense of self-worth. They will learn thinking skills that are critical to communication among their peers. They will work with leading lecturers from around the country— lecturers who have years of teaching and debating experience.
