WCSU is located in Danbury in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains on the western border of Connecticut, 65 miles north of Manhattan and 50 miles southwest of Hartford. WCSU's rural 315 acre Westside Campus boasts spacious grass and field turf playing facilities, and an indoor swimming pool.
The air-conditioned dormitories have multiple room suites which include a small kitchen area and a bathroom private to the suite. Campers are encouraged to bring ample, healthy snacks and drinks - suites do not supply refrigerators. Vending machines are available. The cafeteria is centrally located between the dorms, fields and pool, and offers buffet style hot food, as well as, a sandwich and salad bar. The staff provides a snack bar after the evening session offering drinks, pizza and other snack foods for a nominal fee.
