No. 1 Soccer Camps has been at the Pomfret School for many years. The Pomfret School is conveniently located close to all of New England's major cities. The school is within an hour or less from Boston, Providence, and Hartford. It is less then 3 hours from New York City.
Campers will be housed in the Pomfret School dormitories. Campers are separated in the dorms by age and sex and are housed in single and double rooms with a few quads available. Rooms do have seperable bunked beds. We do suggest bringing a floor fan in case of hot weather during the day to keep the rooms cool. In the evening, it does get quite cool, so please be sure to pack a jacket or sweatshirt.
There is a staff coach assigned to each dormitory floor to enhance supervision. The school is away from busy roads and traffic and has security on campus 24 hours a day.
Each day, campers eat in the dining hall for all-you-can-eat dining. The Pomfret School staff will be on hand to provide nutritious, healthy and quality food service to serve each camper's individual needs. The staff will provide an excellent food service that is prepared daily and can work with campers who have special dietary needs. A salad bar and a sandwich bar are available during lunch and dinner to provide additional options to their daily entrees and sides. A variety of juices, water and milk are available with every meal.
A snack bar is available each evening and will offer pizza, snacks and drinks for purchase. Campers can relax, watch T.V. play video games, pool or ping pong in the Strong Fieldhouse. Money can put into the Camp Bank or the camper may hold onto it.
