Camp Shiwaka, A forest in the city on 5 acres in East Long Beach, near the 605 fwy. Traditional camp opportunities including low -element challenge course, archery, outdoor skills and out door fire ring cooking. Craft activites are geared toward the camp theme. Campers earn a variety of nature awards as learn to value the natural enviroment. Campers grow close during a week with their counselors and the teen volunteers who serve as their DCSs.
