Camp Icaghowan is the perfect place for boys and girls to try new skills, develop as leaders, and discover a sense of adventure in a resident camp setting. Sessions lengths vary among 3-day, 1-week, 2-week or 3-week sessions. Specialty camps for horseback riding, river canoe trips, teen travel adventures, skateboarding and leadership development are also available.
Camp is not just about all the fun kids will have. It's not just all the new skills they'll learn. It's not even the new friends they'll make in their cabin. Camp is an amazing experience because of the values that will be instilled in them while they're having fun, learning new skills and making new friends. When campers try new things they build self-esteem, self reliance, resourcefulness and self-confidence. Camp's positive-reinforcing environment and camper-focused staff makes this possible.
Traditional camp favorites include swimming, rock climbing, overnight camping, hiking, environmental education, arts & crafts, archery, target sports, large group games, outdoor cooking, fire building, wilderness survival skills, canoeing, make your-own-ice-cream, songs, drama/theater, skits, campfires, and more!
