Considered one of the finest camps in America, Greenwoods Camp is known for providing a superior camp experience where meaningful friendships are formed, unique traditions are embraced and each boy is valued for his individuality. Greenwoods offers the opportunity for boys to explore a variety of interests. Our exceptional instruction combined with a fully elective program is designed to meet the needs and interests of each camper. From the athletics fields to the waterfront and from the great outdoors to the arts, the experience is customized for each of our campers.
We believe that camp is a critical part of a child’s education and social development. Our spirited community provides a foundation where boys develop meaningful values and life skills such as team work, leadership, self- resilience, and responsibility.
Campers ages 7-15 attend Greenwoods Camp from all over the United States and the world. A typical session includes about 165 boys with 14 boys in each cabin. Campers live in spacious, airy, modern cabins with electricity and bathrooms. Our camps have been featured in USA Today, Wall Street Journal, Crain’s Chicago Business, Family Life Magazine, National Public Radio and numerous other publications and media outlets.
