DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE SIGNING YOUR CHILD UP FOR THIS CAMP. IT HAS HAD SEVERAL DIFFERENT NAMES OVER THE YEARS.. check additional reviews under California Adventure Camp, East Bay Summer Camps and East Bay Sports. The Owner of this camp has MULTIPLE complaints (all saying the same thing)---this is NOT a camp you want to entrust with the safety and well-being of your child to. I wish I would have done more research prior to signing my son up for 4 weeks, which he last 6 days at! I should have left after day two when I learned my 10 year old son was left "supervised" all day at Six Flags by a 14-year old, but instead I waited until day 6 when my son was on the wrong VAN with the wrong group of kids? "They realized something was amiss when they were on the freeway" I have the voicemail and email messages of the camp director saying these words then asking "if my son has always had problems listening to directions"---that was HIS response to my son being with the wrong group! If you care about your children and their well-being, you will find another safe-SANE camp for them. Do your research and save yourself the heartache the rest of us have endured.

Searching for a camp for my child for the summer and came across this camp. Surprised to see it is still around. It is poorly run and does not deliver what it says. The staff is very young and very inexperienced and the only adult around is the owner/director who is run thin running around on field trips or other camps. I am not sure what the hiring criteria is but it appears none. I'm not sure what the kid to staff ratio is but the number of kids is high compared to the staff. It is expensive & you must read the fine print for refunds as there are none-period. Enrichment for them is considered movies. There were not a lot of options for things to do if you did not chose to pay extra for the field trips. Basically the kids just play on the playground or watch movies which you can pretty much guess what they wanted to do. Bottom line, this camp is run someone who cares more about his bottom line. Very unorganized & unprofessional. Think twice before sending your kids here.
