Michelle Giddens is native of Montgomery, AL. She received a B.F.A. in Art Education from Georgia State University in 2004 and a B.A. in Communication from Auburn University in 1998. As an art education major, she studied in painting, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, art history and photography. Michelle studied art in Cortona, Italy and traveled to Rome, Florence, Naples and Venice. After graduating from Georgia State University, she taught elementary and middle school art in Roswell, GA. Michelle is a working artist and licensed K-12 art teacher. She is opening a studio to work on her art and teach classes to children. Michelle currently resides in Auburn, AL with her husband, James, and 2 children, Thomas and Andrew.
