Imagine a day camp that is designed to offer children a choice of many different science themes. Themes which include Minecraft, Minecraft Modding, Video Game Creation, Robotics, Veterinary Medicine, Programming, Rocketry, Forensics, Food Science, Paleontology, Engineering, Space, Biology, Chemistry, Marine Biology, LEGO Robotics and much more.
Now imagine that the day camp really exists and provides an opportunity for young people to see how science works in the real world. At Terrific Scientific, we believe that every child is a scientist. Our STEAM Camps aim to SPARK imagination, DISCOVER possibilities, INSPIRE future innovators and IGNITE your passion for SCIENCE by offering 40 unique science and technology day camps. Our camps inspire interest in science and nature by involving children in the creation of a multitude of take-away projects in each camp. Our goal is for kids to have fun and get excited about science.
Terrific Scientific summer day camps rely on the expertise of visiting professionals in many of our camps to give campers access to real world experience. The camp day is divided into time slots, balancing many science projects and experiments each day with outdoor team and skill building activities and alternating science, craft, skill-building and outdoor recreational activities. Terrific Scientific tries to strike a balance between academic, social, and recreational pursuits. Our camps specialize in hands-on, minds-on activities for children ages 5-14. Summer Camp was NEVER this much fun!
