About Camp [-]

Located at the Windsong Peace & Leadership Center in the heart of Apache Chiricahua and Tohono O’odham traditional land, our Arizona Take Action Camp brings together young people from around the world, and allows them to feel the excitement of learning leadership skills in a supportive environment full of like-minded peers. This camp will shed more light on many local issues surrounding Arizona like poverty, the environment, and migration across the border.

Over the course of their camp experience, participants will delve deep into important social issues, build their leadership skills, get tips on public speaking, volunteer at local organizations in need, and get hands-on mentorship from our expert leadership facilitators. Along the way, they’ll get to know their own strengths and talents, and begin to open their minds to the endless possibilities for their futures.
