Experience a jam-packed week in the life of a working young actor at TVI Actors Studio in Los Angeles or New York. This unique, seven day boot-camp offers approximately 55 hours of training, networking, and learning the "ins and outs" of a young actors career. It is a camp designed to benefit young actors who are serious and ready to jump-start or launch a successful career as well as those looking for training with industry professionals. And of course a week of fun and new friends with the same interests! A select group of young actors from all over the world will spend one-week learning: . auditioning technique . cold reading . scene study . improvisation . commercial technique . on-camera technique . sitcom, drama and soap technique Instructors include children and teen TV/film/commercial talent agents and managers from Hollywood & New York, casting directors, producers and directors from TV networks, film studios, Broadway shows and commercial casting offices. Actors will perform with scripts from current feature films, sitcoms, one-hour dramas, commercials and soap operas. Musical theater selections are also an option (New York only). Included also, are classes specifically geared to parents that help them better manage their child's career. The feedback and critique from this camp will help young actors sharpen their acting and auditioning skills and create strategies for their personal plan of attack!
