IMPORTANT NOTICE We are NOT a program for Juvenile Delinquents. With a history that spans over 100 years, no other organization is better suited than the U.S. Army Cadet Corps (USAC) to oversee a more realistic, fun and safe training environment that challenges young people. The training provided during Police Adventure Camp (PAC) is tough, and is meant only for young people who are motivated and want to attend. PAC does not cater to delinquents and this is not a correctional camp, our programs are "great training, for good kids", others need not apply. The following programs are those for first-time attendees, returning Cadets may review our enrollment package for info on programs intended specifically for them. Summer 2010 Basic Police Cadet Academy Basic Police Cadet Training is the cornerstone for the Police Cadet Academy programming. Completing Basic Police Cadet Training is a great accomplishment, as the program is very physically and mentally challenging. It will require hard work, determination, a desire to learn, and a willingness to work cohesively as a team with fellow Cadets. Each Cadet will be assigned to a platoon of 18-40 Cadets led by Law Enforcement Instructors. During Basic Police Cadet Training a Cadet will be waking up early, doing PT (physical training) in the morning, learning to march, learning the basics of arrest, attending informative classes, and constantly being challenged throughout the day. While in training at the Police Cadet Academy, Cadets will have the opportunity to participate in a number of high-adventure activities, such as rappelling, martial arts training, running a confidence course, pistol and rifle marksmanship training, mock traffic stops, etc...
