Students through grade 8 create their own schedule in half-day or full-day program including camp activities, sports, and non-credit classes. Courses include reading, writing, math, technology, music, theatrical performance, art, and specialties like Spa-Tastic Science, Theatre Improvisation, Pinhole Photography, Cooking Camp, and Web or Video Game Design. High school students have credit and non-credit options. PCDS offers some of Arizona's finest facilities with swimming pools, playing fields, air-conditioned gym and classrooms, art studios, auditoriums, computer labs. Full-service lunch in newly renovated cafeteria. Extended day available. High school students may choose from a list of classes that covers sports, arts, technology, academics, SAT prep. Courses include Basketball, Lacrosse, and Performance Training; Writing Short Stories, Theatre Improvisation, Games for Mind & Body; Algebra I, PSAT/SAT Preparation (Math and Verbal); Digital Photography, News Reporting, Game Design, and Robotics. Two five-week, credit classes are Geometry and Art Exploration.
