Performers Theatre Workshop, located in Maplewood, NJ, is one of New Jersey's leading performing arts schools for young people. Founded 27 years ago, we have a strong track record for teaching children in a nurturing environment, so they learn the craft of singing, dancing and acting to reach success, whether their goal is to star on Broadway, TV or Film, or just land a great part in their school musical.
We have expert faculty who have starred on Broadway, TV & Film, teaching singing classes, acting classes, dancing classes. comedy and improvisation classes, Acting For Film & Television classes, private voice lessons, private acting lessons, private dance lessons, audition technique, private songwriting, private guitar and private piano. We feature many varied and exciting performing opportunities, including Fall and Spring shows, private lesson recitals and performing at NYC showcases for agents and managers.
Many of our graduates and current students have landed major roles on Broadway, TV and Film and have been successful in numerous areas of the performing arts. With our audition preparation classes we also help students reach their full potential to get great roles in their school and community shows.
