The New Adventures Day Camp is celebrating our eighteenth year of operation! The guiding philosophy of our camp continues to be that all children, provided with a safe and nurturing environment, will flourish by exploring the rich and unique opportunities New York City and the tri-state region have to offer. This year our camp will return to PS 222 at 3301 Quentin Road. Our new facility includes a special children’s playground, gymnasium, a classroom for arts and crafts, a media room and a large lunchroom for games and other activities. All swimming (instructional and recreational) will take place at the PacPlex Swim Club as well as the pool at Jones Beach. This summer, we will again offer a quality gymnastics experience at the Brooklyn Gymnastics Center. In addition, we will be able to utilize the extensive park facilities adjacent to PS 222 as well as Marine Park. We will also take advantage of the many resources of the New York metropolitan area through a variety of day trips. For our older campers, we offer overnight trips to Pennsylvania, Virginia and Club Getaway in Kent, Connecticut.
