Mike brought a dozen racers from the east coast to Mt Hood in the fall of 1978 for some early season training on the newly built Palmer chairlift. He quickly discovered the incredible opportunity the area offered for summer training, and the rest is history. When Mike isn't busy running the camp, he enjoys tennis, windsurfing, and playing bridge.
