Maranatha Camp and Conference Center welcomes you to join us this summer for our 50th year of summer camp ministry. Since the land was first cleared on Lake Guntersville in 1954, Maranatha has provided a space for God to change the lives of persons of all ages. In gratefulness to God, they continue to honor the particular work of the Holy Spirit in developing the spiritual lives of young people through our summer camping program.
There are two primary ways for a young person to participate in summer camping: Residential Camp and Day Camp.
Our day camps run for nine weeks from June 1 through July 24 for youth who have completed first grade through eighth grade. Day camps run for 4-5 days beginning each morning at 9:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. Day campers participate in all of the activities of overnight camps, but return home each day. An option for bus transportation from Huntsville is a major draw for this program.
Our residential camps are mostly age-based traditional summer camp opportunities that includes an “Adventure Path” option in some weeks for campers who enjoy paintball and ropes courses. All of our camping programs are centered around young people having space to grow in faith among peers in a spiritually rich environment.
