Encounter the perfect outdoor classroom within our ecologically rich and diverse 370-acre forest located at our Buckley Wildlife Sanctuary location. Lessons are aligned with Kentucky Core Content for Assessment /Common Core Standards. We specialize in school group programs but also have the ability to plan for any group or organization.
Educational field trips, environmental field days, and professional development opportunities may also be made available for your group. Environmental education staff will assist your group with programming as well as logistics. When possible, we are also able to bring in professionals to present on various topics in addition to our environmental education staff.

While taking a stroll through our un-nature trail, the students will have an opportunity to recognize the impact that humans have on the environment around them. In addition, they will discuss how to limit future impact.
