The Junior Leadership Camp is a weeklong boarding camp designed for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. The camp is staffed and supervised by New Mexico Military Institute (NMMI) staff and faculty. The camp is designed to provide an experiential learning environment focusing on leadership and followership. The campers have fun participating in a variety of academic, social, and physical fitness activities. The camp is a mini exposure to cadet life at NMMI. The camp has a full schedule with the days starting at 6 in the morning and finishing up at 10 pm each day. The camp is conducted on the NMMI campus which has a barracks, academic buildings, computer labs, px, mess hall, gyms, and library.
