Located in coastal Connecticut, on 700 wooded acres surrounding a mile long private lake, the Incarnation Family of Camps: Pequot, Sherwood, and Pioneer Village, is the host of the country's oldest co-ed camps. Since 1886, we have provided a fun-filled, traditional camp with hands-on learning and group living in the great outdoors. Our camps include: Pequot for boys 7-13 years, Sherwood for girls 7-13 years, and Pioneer Village for teens 14-15 years old. As America's oldest camp, our camps are amazing places to spend your summers – there is nothing quite like the bonds you build with your camp friends as you experience the adventures of summertime together. Campers participate in well-rounded and adventurous programs including: swimming, boating, sports, arts & crafts, and leadership building activities. We encourage our campers to develop an appreciation for nature and celebrate the uniqueness of each individual. Our farm and gardens, for instance, give a hands-on exposure to the real world. Our lake is not just for canoes, but a 100-foot water slide, a 60-foot rope swing, water mats, kayaks, and so much more. Our challenge course, sports fields, beach day, carnival time, parade and fireworks on the 4th, and our wonderful themed-meals all give our campers the experience of a lifetime. Yet our program is attractively priced at $995 for campers 7-9, $1450 for older campers, and we do have some scholarships available.
