Indiana University Health Sports Performance helps young athletes gain a step up on the competition through expert instruction in a fun setting at Speed and Agility camps located around the city of Indianapolis.
Led by our nationally certified coaches, these camps enable young athletes to develop explosive power and increase vertical jump, strength, flexibility and overall speed, while decreasing the risk of injury. A combination of experienced instructors and cutting-edge training programs allows campers to learn the fundamentals of speed and agility training, improve their linear, lateral and multi-directional movements on the field or court, and improve their overall athletic ability.
Speed and Agility summer camps are for boys and girls ages 7-14 of all skill levels and sports. Typically, our coaches divide campers into two groups of 7 to 11 years old and 12 to 14 years old. The athlete’s skill level is ultimately the determining factor. Programs ranging from four days to four weeks are offered during June and July in multiple locations across central Indiana.
IU Health Sports Performance camps include competitive and fun activities in rotational stations to keep youngsters active and engaged in small groups. Special recognition awards will be given to the most improved athlete and best overall performance each week. Campers will also receive a free IU Health Sports Performance camp T-shirt.
