About Miss Katie:
Katie Bastian has been riding horses since she could walk, and got her first horse around the age of seven. She and her family built the family farm Poplar Ridge Stables to pursue the love of horses in 1999. During her Cathedral High School years, Katie taught horseback riding to her friends, family, and neighbors here at Poplar Ridge. Katie then traveled abroad for college, acquiring degrees in Psychology and Sociology, and becoming a Certified Hypnotherapist among other pursuits. Her love of horses and teaching has brought her back to her roots at home here in Indiana, and back into the arena.
About Stevie:
Steve Prepost has been a horse enthusiast for many years, first learning about horses from his grandfather in Hungary. Steve's 12 years as a Professional Hang-gliding Instructor transfers well into horseback riding. His incredible teaching skills coupled with his current certifications in First Aid and CPR provide valuable assistance & a fresh perspective here at Poplar Ridge!
Katie and Steve are a great team, are good at horsing around, and are enthusiastic to see you around the barn! Let's get you in the saddle!
