GV Christian School presents this year's Summer Camp: The Eagle-lympics. This year students will follow the theme of the Olympics and earn grade level "medals" for their active participation and good moral character. Each age group will be responsible for coming up with their own "country" name, colors and flag. Students will experience the thrills and excitement of the Olympic Games through activities, crafts, sports, and fellowship in a Christian setting. Each week children will be able to participate in bi-weekly field trips to the pool and various local recreation facilities such as bowling, movies, gyms, and museums. We will also have weekly Bible devotions and chapel where kids are able to worship and listen to God's word. GV Christian School Summer Camp Program is a place where families can send their children to a structured, familiar, and trusting environment with a loving staff. Camp is open to all students going into 1st Grade to 6th Grade.
GV Christian School Summer Camp starts June 11th and runs until the start of the new school year in late August breaking only on July 4th. The camp runs from 6am-6pm Monday-Friday. We have two field trips to the pool a week, chapel service every Wednesday, and starting this year a new robotics course using Legos. We will also have multiple field trips to the movies, bowling, skating rink, indoor gyms, mini golf and laser tag. The daily rate is $30 plus a one time registration fee. Early registrants before April 30th receive a discount on the registration fees. Every student will receive a t-shirt and all field trips and materials are included.
