About Camp [-]

Try the Family Dinosaur Camp this summer. Here's your chance to find a dinosaur yourself. At camp you and your family and friends will meet a real paleontologist, learn how to hunt for dinosaurs, and take home real fossils you've found yourself. Family Dinosaur Camp will be held over Spring and Summer 2013 the weeks of 3/25, 4/1, 4/29, 5/6, 6/17, 6/24, 7/1, 7/8, 7/29, 8/12, 8/19, and 8/26. The camp meets for a week, five days Monday through Friday. A responsible adult must accompany children. You must have your own transportation or arrange to share a ride with other participants. The program is suitable for all ages, young children through adult. Special arrangements can be made for persons with special physical needs in most cases. During the camp we will visit a zoo, bone halls, and dinosaur exhibits. Participants will also hunt for and dig for dinosaurs. You will learn how paleontologists have discovered the facts about dinosaurs. All camps are day camps - Monday to Friday for one week sessions. For more information about the camps contact the Dinosaur Fund at (202) 547-3326 or dinosaurfund@juno.com. There will be discounts for adults accompanying children and larger family groups. Arrangements are possible for missed or missing individual days. Contact the Dinosaur Fund at (202) 547-3326 or email Dinosaurfund@juno.com for further information and registration.
