A year-round nature camp operating in partnership with Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore and providing hands-on learning for all ages
Dunes Learning Center provides exceptional outdoor experiences that inspire community, environmental stewardship and a lifelong love of learning. Located in the spectacularly biodiverse Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, our education staff utilize a "classroom without walls" and hands-on learning to nurture a critical and beneficial connection to nature for children and adults.
Dunes Learning Center is located inside Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore on the site of the former Camp Good Fellow. Access to the camp is generally restricted to scheduled groups, but a number of public programs are available.
The mission of Dunes Learning Center is to provide an in-depth exploration of the dynamic relationship between people and their environments using the natural and cultural resources of the Indiana Dunes Region where nature and society co-exist.
