About Camp [-]

Located in California on Loon Lake in Eldorado National Forest near Lake Tahoe, Deer Crossing Camp stands out from other summer camps due to our emphasis on skill building and wilderness safety, our focus on developing resilient youth, and our no-road-access, off-the-grid, wilderness location (where campers hike in and gear is boated in). Campers sleep in platform tents. Two-week campers participate in all core and optional activities, backpacking and canoe-camping out-trips, campfire program, end-of-session BBQ, and optional one-day whitewater rafting. Leadership programs for ages 14-17. American Camp Assn accredited.
