Christian Youth Conference objectives: - To encourage growth in Christian faith. - To gain a sense of oneself and one's personal beliefs. - To experience together the love of GOD. Youth Conference is a journey of togetherness, attracting campers and staff from the United States and around the world. The program includes beach time, sports, entertainment, evening program, a talent show, special events, field trips, chapel, vespers, and a unique candlelight commitment service. CYC, formerly known as the New England Baptist Youth Conference, has been held each summer on the coast of Maine for nearly a century. The Conference is held for two weeks each August. Though Baptist in history and sponsorship, CYC is truly inclusive, welcoming youth from all persuasions. Christian Youth Conference maintains a covenant relationship with the American Baptist Churches of Massachusetts.
