The Cheley mission states "We build the lasting character and resiliency of young people, creating unique life experiences in a challenging and nurturing natural environment." Since 1921, Cheley has been welcoming children from around the world to the Colorado Rockies. Our focus is on creating a strong community where children can grow and explore who they are and who they want to be. This is supported through our activities which include hiking, backpacking, horseback riding, technical climbing, mountain biking, rafting, stand-up paddle boarding, fishing, sports, archery, riflery, crafts, a high and low ropes course, and more. We offer 2 27-day programs for nine to seventeen year old children.
