Camp Strawderman is an all-girls camp with a long and rich tradition of good old fashioned summer fun for girls ages 6-17. The unusual beauty of the natural surroundings and the location, easily accessible, yet still off the beaten path, make for an ideal site. There are fifteen sleeping cabins with adjoining counselor's rooms, a main dining hall, a large recreation hall, a craft shop, a trading post, a counselors' lodge, and a director's cabin, all built in rustic style. Water for drinking and showers is supplied by pure mountain springs and driven wells on the mountain side. Stony Creek, flowing through the camp, provides facilities for swimming.
