Situated on over 300 wooded acres just off the beautiful Natchez Trace Parkway, Camp of the Rising Son offers adventure packed, Christian summer camp programs for children 7-17 years old. A summer tradition for many for over 30 summers, CRS is the camp and conference ministry of French Camp Academy. We offer several distinct programs for children and youth during the summer: overnight and day camp options for campers age 6-12, and Rafting Adventures, Camp Intern Adventure, and Horse Camp for teens. Campers are able to participating in activities such as horse back riding, archery, sailing, kayaking, overnight campouts, swimming, nature hikes, pottery, art, and swimming in the lake or pool. Camp of the Rising Son makes every effort to meet the highest standards for operating an exciting, fun, safe summer camp program. To promote this standard of excellence, we maintain our accreditation with the American Camp Association.
Our facilities are also availble for use throughout the year, offering; food service, lodging, meeting areas and recreation.
