Founded in 1937, Camp Laurelwood is the only Jewish “overnight” camp in Connecticut. It enjoys the support of the community with an active board of directors, volunteers, parent and alumni networks, synagogues, Jewish federations, foundations, and Jewish Community Centers, that recognize the role the camp plays in building and strengthening Jewish identity at an early age.
Camp Laurelwood is an agency of the Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven and is accredited by the American Camping Association and the State of Connecticut.
