Camp Bernadette - also known as Camp Bernie - was established in 1953 as a sister camp for Fatima. Although it was founded and is operated by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Manchester, NH, Camp Bernie welcomes girls of all faiths. Camp Bernie is located on beautiful Lake Wentworth in Wolfeboro, NH. We're about 20 miles south of New Hampshire's White Mountain Region, a 30 minute drive from Camp Fatima and easily accessible from Manchester and Concord, NH.
The camp can accommodate 270 girls in 21 cabins. While we have many camp-wide events, your camper will spend most of her time playing and living with girls her own age. Campers are divided into:
Juniors - ages 6-10Intermediates - ages 11 & 12Seniors - ages 13-15
Regular camp sessions run for two weeks. We also offer a starter week session for young campers ages 5-9, Club 15 for older campers and a Counselor-in-Training program.
