camp al hilal was started in 1979 to bring muslim youth from across the metro detroit and surrounding areas together. Being in it's 26th year, we have helped form valuable friendships and broaden the campers scope of islamic knowledge while being in an islamic atmosphere and enjoying the beautiful wilderness of michigan's great outdoors! It is a week long event that allows the muslim youth to explore the outdoors and learn about their deen at the same time.
