Since 1942, Buck's Rock Performing and Creative Arts Camp has offered teenagers, ages 9-16, extraordinary opportunities, facilities, materials and instruction in the performing and creative arts. Theater, Music, Audio Recording Engineering, Dance, Improvisation, Video, Glassblowing, Metalsmithing, Sculpture, Woodworking, Painting, Printmaking, Ceramics and Fiber Arts are just some of our featured activities.
Buck's Rock's unique freedom of choice program allows campers to dedicate themselves whole-heartedly to activities that truly inspire them, allowing them to feel fulfilled and self-empowered. They learn important decision-making and time-management skills, becoming more confident and self-reliant.
With guidance from our staff, our campers spend their time wisely and productively and make good choices for themselves, while enjoying our professionally equipped studios and highly qualified instructors. Campers gain strong values such as trust, tolerance and integrity, and learn important virtues such as responsibility and commitment.
Buck's Rock's non-competitive teaching and learning environment allows campers to expand themselves and grow in immeasurable ways.
