AUSSIE ADVENTURE IN THE TROPICAL NORTH
In the Great Dividing Range outside of Cairns, we stay with a local Aboriginal host family and gain firsthand perspective into an ancient way of life. Our homestay offers us a cultural exchange including the opportunity to craft our own Didgeridoos! Our journey continues with an epic whitewater rafting trip on the Tully River, which is renowned by rafting enthusiasts for its thrilling rapids and stunning course through national parklands!
KANGAROOS, ZIP LINE & VOLCANOES
Further north, we explore Crater Lakes National Park. We interact with some of Australia's famed wildlife -- koalas, kangaroos and countless exotic birds -- while visiting a set of idyllic waterfalls and swimming holes in Wooroonooran National Park. We also give back by planting new trees in the park. A zip-line through the Daintree Rainforest caps off our visit to the legendary Cape Tribulation region!
GREAT BARRIER REEF: PADI DIVE CERTIFICATION
The Great Barrier Reef, which attracts water enthusiasts from around the world, is our amazing classroom for PADI dive certification. We spend three days exploring the coral walls, mysterious swim-throughs and exotic fish of the reef, all while enjoying the luxuries of a live-aboard boat. The reef is ideal for both beginner and experienced divers!
SURF & EXPLORE SYDNEY
We end our Aussie adventure in Sydney, a bustling metropolis and the country’s cultural capital. After exploring Sydney's world-famous Opera House and Harbor Bridge, we surf on Manly Beach, an Australian icon renowned for its perfect waves and unique surf culture. Local professional guides break us into groups and kickstart our evolution from "Shark Biscuits" (beginners) to "Surfies" (real Australian pros)!
