Bear Paw Hockey strives to empower each student with hockey fundamentals and the confidence to use these skills. Through innovative instruction, we put the emphasis on learning and having fun. Bear Paw instructors have extensive backgrounds in teaching, coaching and working with children and young adults. House League, Travel, and Elite players will all benefit from the five day camp. All Programs run Monday through Friday. Director- Eric Penn, Tournament Director, Las Vegas Youth Hockey, Former Coaching Director for Missoula Area Youth Hockey Association. Coach Penn captained his University of Illinois Fighting Illini to two consecutive National Tournament appearances. He then successfully coached the Illini for two more years, as the Head Assistant. Eric has taught high school biology and has coached high school football and hockey. Eric recently finished a Dep't of Interior Grizzly Bear Study in Glacier National Park. He is currently pursuing his Master's in Education. Former Indianapolis Jr. Ice Defenseman, Former Illini Defenseman and All-American Paul Reidy, Former Professional in the Dutch Elite League, Former Illini Forward Taka Yoshino, Power Skating Guru- applies expertise in posture control therapy to drills on and off ice.
