At Thompson’s Music our Summer Music camps offer students ages six through teenagers exposure to an array of musical instruments and voice. Music camp provides a better understanding of what instrument your child may want to continue to study.
Students will be given a keen insight into the world of fiddle, keyboard, guitar, and voice. Some basic knowledge of rhythm and music theory will be acquired through fun and exciting games.
Leadership roles are a unique part of our course program. Children love being the leader/teacher in our Rhythm Class while learning in a fun filled environment.
At “A” Major Summer Music Camp children bloom into budding musicians as they develop confidence, and self-esteem. Students may develop better concentration skills through the art of self discipline, determination, and perserverance while having fun learning music. These are just a few of the life skills music teaches children.
