The AMI Summer Music Camp is a day camp open to all students of all instruments, ages 5 - 18 years old. Instruments including strings, voice, piano, guitar, brass, winds, and percussion. This is a great way to add academic and musical fun into your summer!
Each camp session is one-week long during the month of July: Early Childhood Program (July 5 - 9, 2010), Musical Theater Program (July 12 - 16, 2010), Classical Program (July 19 - 23, 2010) and Rock/Jazz Program (July 26 - 30, 2010)
Each day consists of 5 different academic and instructional classes such as group instruction, recording technology, music appreciation, chamber ensemble (or) rock / jazz band, and composition. In addition to educational classes, students also have recreational time and lunch period. At the end o each day all students join together to listen to fellow students and faculty members perform during the Performance Class.
